Day 2
Paul and the others are now enroute to Germany – expected to land at 1400hrs MST. It’s a fairly long trip, and no doubt not much fun in a military transport. Audra was on more media early this morning – and while I applaud her strength – I know how much she is hurting. Good thing she’s tough like Paul and has the sense of humour she does. She’s done Canadian Military families proud.
I’m keepin my ear to the ground today – while I’m at work… For those of you who read the POST, or Canwest global – Tim Lai’s interview with Audra revealed a little of Pauls spirit – and willingness to accept the changes that are now taking place. I also heard from Geocacher Tommy Potx – ret. Sgt. who has expressed his sympathy and best wishes for a speedy return from Theater – and from Jim P. – a friend of Audra’s and mine from years gone-by… I’ll be talking to Audra later in the day and will be passing along their sentiments.
Without a sense of humour – and the willingness to laugh at adversity – how could you keep going day after day?
