According to CBC / CTV news Pauls condition has been upgraded to Serious – but stable. Not bad considering the circumstances.

I’ve just talked to the crew at his place – and he is now in Germany – safe, sound, awake – and probably wants a beer… He’s got some recovery to do – but nothing we can’t manage…. Left leg was amputated – right was a serious compound fracture. They did a reduction on the bone – and hopefully except being a little shorter – all will be well… Just need to find out when he can travel now…
