WHEW! So - back from a whirlwind trip to Calgary and the Fly Fishing Exposition. We were invited down to promote FlyAngler.ca and Fly Fusion - and spent the weekend in the Tyers theater area, helping out Jack Dennis and hearing a few too many stories. I certainly know where I’m headed next time I go to the states… Jackson Hole baby…
Jack is an extraordinarily generous gentleman - and I am glad to have had the opportunity to spend a little time with him at the show. Thanks to the library of books and DVD’s I now have - hopefully I’ll be able to step up my tying too.
On other fronts - the FFE was fantastic. Spent a bit of time with my publisher Chris Bird - and the crew at FlyFusion. Most enjoyable indeed. The Global interview went really well - as did the tying theatre presentation. That I’ll do again next year.
