What it is can be a rewarding lifetime experience. It entails self-sacrifice, compassion, worry, excitement, fullfilment, joy and a helluva lot of planning for the next 20+ years or so. Not to mention undying love and (trying to) understanding. Rewarding - yes in spite of it all. You two will do okay and so will junior(ette). Dogs may have to learn to be 2nd place though!
Hang in there Lin, you are about to undergo several little changes in the day to day but you can do it and the big fisherman can be counted on to do his share :)
