Well, time is passing quickly now. I am now a whopping 13 weeks along and I am feeling better. Except of course for the fact that I feel a little like I’m holding up a bowling ball with just the skin on my stomach. I hear you can get a belly bra for that too which sounds kind of wrong to me, but who am I to say?
I’m also going for another check-up today, and I’m hoping to hear the heartbeat again. The last time it was 147 /minute which just MIGHT indicate a girl, but either is fine with us. People laugh when I tell them that I picture Boo from Monsters Inc. If you look at Greg and my family, it’s really not so far off.
Years ago, Greg & I did this photo booth thing at Playdium in West Edmonton Mall that took pics of us both and blended them to give us an idea what our children would look like. I think it scared us from having kids for several years. The girl had more facial hair than Greg does, and really it’s quite frightening. If you ever get a chance to do this, do. It’s a great method of birth control if nothing else.
Now, of to the Ob/Gyn!
