Using pregnancy to diffuse a situation? It’s not an original idea - but usually on TV it’s to give a bad guy a conscience, not to keep angry clients at bay.
In fact, the implication that women “with child” are delicate little flowers that cannot cope wth normal day-to-day stress is almost a little insulting, don’t you think? Is the policy, “I am pregnant, therefore I cannot debate on why you have made decisions I cannot fix.” ? I say dish it out baby! Let those hormones rage and give them a taste of their own medicine - you don’t need to be a shrinking violet behind that belly.
