Subject line HERE… no HERE!

It arrived. It took 2 long months of waiting – but it arrived. I was enlightened, and entertained. I was amused, and embarrassed. And even though Annie Serteich made fun of people like me (Bloggers, and nerds) I feel great.
Why? My copy of “Subject Line Here” arrived.  The event (with Nickerson at the helm) was done as a benefit to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in the U and S of A.  In short, SLH was an on-stage collection of Bloggers (Internet WeB LOGgers) reading their material. Funny people, great writers. Peers in a sense (that we blog – not that I’m famous, or a talented actor or performer) that made me laugh, just by telling their stories.

I guess that’s what the internet is about. Joining people from disparate backgrounds for a common cause, and the collective good. And – for downloading porn.

    I really wanted to attend that event but had prior obligations. Then I thought about purchasing the DVD but my money’s been rather tied up. Now I’m thinking I might have to procure a copy through whatever means still exist (can I still buy it new?). I’ve heard enough praise I definitely do want to see it though.
