The list gets longer. It's a dirty kind of war and it will drag on further. Important that the Canadian public keeps supporting our Troops 110% while this mission lasts. In any war there are bound to be casualties and friends and loved ones will be lost or injured. That's the way it is and I get pretty P.O.d when I read some of the 'bleeding heart' articles in the local media every time something happens to a Canadian soldier. This is the military. They know that they will be asked if necessary to take chances - it is part of the job.
While I support the men and women serving in Afghanistan (I have the yellow ribbon on both cars), I don't want to see Canada extend when the present tour of duty ends. We will be done.

Agree with the Ranger. Our people have done a first class job under crappy conditions and with dubious allies. Finish the tour, try and keep casualties at a minimum and let some of the other NATO people put their military on the line for a change.
