Storms amaze me. A smoking hot day followed by a cold front almost guarantees fireworks. Yesterday was a HOT day. The fireworks were beyond our expectations.
The slow moving (50km/h) storm spewed lightning for almost 2 hours, with thousands of bolts through the clouds and hundreds piercing the ground around our neighborhood.
The photos of the storm and lightning speak for themselves I think.

I like the way the fan makes the windows look like a layout of Alberta and the window to the right looks like Saskatchewan.
