So - February 20th we took the opportunity to view the last total lunar eclipse visible in Canada until 2014.
What a sight… and what a site.
My driveway was littered with scopes, binoculars, video, people, tripods, and doughnuts - and while we shivered outside - the moon disappeared to a very 3 dimensional reddish orange, and back to it’s full glory.
Great fun having so many of our friends and neighbors to share the event with us. Even Ben spent an hour or so outside in the throng. Quite an event really.
