					<description>I saw that and am saddened by his resignation.  Hillier was a real military man and was not interested in furthering his career by pleasing the politicians.  He is a no-nonsense guy and a refreshing change from some of the more "politically  correct" Chiefs of Defence Staffs that have run our military in previous years.  He was straight forward in his commitment and the sort of guy that if I was a soldier, would like to have leading the way.  As they say in the navy, "Bravo Zulu General Hillier" .  (For the un-enlightened it means a big well done).</description>
