		<description>I saw that and am saddened by his resignation.  Hillier was a real military man and was not interested in furthering his career by pleasing the politicians.  He is a no-nonsense guy and a refreshing change from some of the more &quot;politically  correct&quot; Chiefs of Defence Staffs that have run our military in previous years.  He was straight forward in his commitment and the sort of guy that if I was a soldier, would like to have leading the way.  As they say in the navy, &quot;Bravo Zulu General Hillier&quot; .  (For the un-enlightened it means a big well done).</description>
